More excellent images here.
I think you may have lost your way Alan, could be making money from your photography.
Fantastic!!! All of them! Congrats on the Nighthawk. That is one tricky bird to find. I cannot wait to head back and see these animals again.

Wonderful images Alan! Oh how I'd love to see a Nighthawk!
Well done on the Whitethroat Alan. They do seem to have started popping up on logs in the last couple of days especially down your way.
So glad you shared some more of your holiday pics with us. I loved the lizard and the Three-toed Sloth!
Got Whitethroat on the same day then Alan.

Great pictures Alan and especially the green heron I find super. Never seen a green heron. I read that you had seen but did not return later. A ring ouzel Too bad, but you still get it fixed once for your lens :-)

The hawk is also very special to see so.
Very nice blog weather and very diverse.
Greetings, Helma
magnificent magnificent frigatebird picture....
im popping over to sissinghurst castle next weekend, probably, weather dependant i guess, any advice as to looking for birds in the area, do you just wander round the grounds and footpaths of the grounds or do you go to specific places...or indeed, just pot luck....
graham
Hi Graham, I tend not to go into the garden itself all my birding is done around the grounds and various footpaths, the earlier you are there the better. The car park is worth a walk round for migrants and Bullfinch are regular in the hedge north. Early on you might find Kingfisher on the lake the path that runs directly behind the lake is good and can hold Marsh tit and LS Wood especially to the west. the fields are good for yellowhammer and the nightingale sings from a small clump of trees along the stream, I hope you find something and enjoy the walk.
